Today more than any other time, non-conformity in home décor is celebrated. Who says we can’t put a slide in the house? Including a unique feature, items add not only interest but value.
Whether you’re renovating or building new, unique perks like a dog washing station or a staircase slide separate your home from typical cookie-cutter layouts. If you’re in a neighborhood with house after house of standard floorplan layouts, your renovation should include design elements that distinguish it from the rest.

Who Would Enjoy a Staircase Slide?
Adding a slide would sure keep the kids busy during family gatherings. The children could be happily occupied as long as the youngest ones have an adult watching them trek up the steps.
It’s not only the kids that will find it fun; you may have a goofy pet that will as well. So remember to video fido’s or kitty’s slide down the stairs; you never know, it could go viral.
Then there’s those with aching bones and sore knees – what a handy way to go down the stairs when you’re not well.
Here’s a crazy way to use your slide, send a bundle of laundry down on it! Put the laundry in a laundry bag, and let it go.

How unique. I didn’t know such things were possible. I can well imagine how much kids would enjoy it. 🙂
Pat, I’d love to have one 🙂
I would have loved this as a child! My siblings and I used to slide down the carpeted steps in the home I grew up in. Sometimes we used a large piece of cardboard to make the trip down easier on our bodies. Either way, it was great fun!
Cynthia, lol, I remember doing that as a child as well
