What’s the Meaning Behind the Color Pink and Does it Connect with Your Personality?

Pink is a sign of hope. When your décor includes a little bit of pink, without even knowing it, you’re inspiring good vibes.

Although pink is associated with little girls, nurseries and babies, it’s a color with the power to encourage calmness and reassurance. Overcoming negative energy takes great strength, and the color pink may be coated in softness but its toughness is its ability to make people feel everything will be ok.

Did you know that pink and dusty rose are used in some Prisons and Institutions to help calm people.  Notice the next time you walk into a helping or healing facility if pink is on the walls. However, like any color, it shouldn’t be overused as its intended benefits can have the opposite affect.

In summary, pink is a nurturing color. Pink, the color of love and calmness represents the need to receive or to give tender loving care. If you wear a lot of pink, perhaps you’re subconsciously seeking some measure of unconditional love or support. There’s absolutely nothing wrong emoting with pink; pink’s healing nature gives it a strength that no one sees coming.

When you’re decorating with pink, you’re doing more than people know, as it secretly does its calming work.
