If you have a full-on fight every single year with your Christmas Tree box, then for goodness sakes just nip this one in the bud and get yourself a tree storage bag already!
So here comes the New Year and it’s time to take down the tree …. and what is that in our living room once again? It’s that tree box in all it’s former glory, laughing at us, yes laughing at us because it knew we wouldn’t spring for a storage bag during the holidays!
That sorry-looking tree box is all too proud of it’s ripped corner and scotch-taped sides. In fact, Christmas Tree Boxes all over the world gather online to make fun of us and take bets in their Facebook group on which Box gets to live another year because their owner is so ‘careful’ with money, a.k.a, cheap.
Well, what Tree Boxes have to understand is that it may seem like we’re cheap…YAH THAT’s RIGHT…but it only seems that way! We have a ton of things to buy during the holidays and we’re just too darn tapped out to order a Christmas Tree Storage Bag! So, take that! We aren’t keeping those boxes ’cause we love them, are we! NO, we’re keeping them because we’re too kind spending all of our money on other people! Hmmmm…wonder why no-one has ever bought me a Christmas Tree Storage Bag? Maybe my tree box is in cahoots with my whole family? Nah, I’m just being paranoid, aren’t I?
This is the year my Christmas Tree Box loses that bet in their Facebook Group! Hasta la Vista ‘ole box, you’re going to that great recycle machine in the sky! Move over, there’s a new bag in town.
UPDATE ON MY TREE: We didn’t have to get a Christmas Tree Storage Bag after all: We pitched the tree last year – payback for this story it told. Bummer though, now we need a new tree and a new storage bag.

Don’t Anger Your Ornaments!
Yah that’s right, our ornaments are laughing at us too..they know they’ll be stored in torn, almost shredded boxes or just tossed together in a thoughtless disorganized fashion! The only difference being that our ornaments want to be placed in this pretty storage container, so they’re rooting for us to spring for one of these!

TIP from a HOCKEY MOM:
If you don’t feel like springing for the expense of buying a Christmas Tree Storage Bag, and you have extra Non-Stinky Hockey Bags in the House, you could use those. Of course, a large tree may require a couple of hockey bags. Better yet if those hockey bags are on wheels!
