One of the ways you can add art to a room is to add it to the floor using area rugs that look like stones
Whether anchoring a larger space or trying to create a separate area, flooring choice is critical to our final look.

Keep in mind is the level of pattern and color you plan for a room. As an example, when planning for an area rug that looks like stones, then solid contrasting colored hardwood, ceramic, or vinyl floor would make this busier rug pop.
If the floor surface is stone, rugs are easier to match if the colors are either opposite or close to matching. Since it’s challenging to match color tones perfectly, not to mention the busy shapes, often a contrasting floor will work best.
Solid colored accents would look lovely with this area rug that looks like stones; a beautiful, deep sumptuous colored leather sofa would also look terrific; chocolate brown or a color match from the carpet could work well.
